Today is one of those days where I’m extremely thankful.
I’m thankful for the difficult people that were put into my life, thanks to you, I realised exactly what I don’t want or deserve.
I’m thankful for the hard times, because I realised that I can get through them.
I’m thankful for those who respect me and accept me, exactly how I am.
I’m thankful for my incredible instinct, without you, I’d be lost.
I’m thankful for being blessed with the meaning of the word “understanding”. The more I understand, the less I understand.
I’m thankful for your love, positive vibes and good energy. And I wish each and everyone of you the best in the world.
It’s up to YOU and YOU only to decide what you want and deserve…
Soundgarden – Burden in my Hand
This is what Chris Cornell had to say about the meaning of the song:
“That was a song that really came from the guitar itself. It was mostly like the guitar was dictating what the lyrics should be and creating a mental image. The mental image was this sort of destitute guy. I guess he’d lost his cool if you want to put it that way. He’s sort of coming to grips with what had happened and not necessarily feeling particularly emotional about it either way. He’s trying to figure out how he would stand up and put one foot in front of the other—or not—and the song never really resolves any of that. It’s just that moment of somebody sitting in the dirt. I had more moments like that after that song was written than I ever had before it was, so it means a lot more to me now than it did then.”
Sorry for disappearing these last few days, they have been quite something!
Very interesting in deed… I will write up on them over the next couple of days. My head still hasn’t quite come around everything I’ve seen, experienced, lived, understood, totally misunderstood, don’t understand, feel and think.
But, as it’s Friday and well, I’m emotional – in a good way… I decided to share this absolute BEAUTY with you.
I heard it a few months ago and loved it and thought about it today… And well… The name of the song is just perfect… SPEAKING OF TRUTH.
Have a listen to the lyrics, and the music is vibrating!
On a day like today but in 1985, Back to the Future was released.
Back to the Future is a CLASSIC science fiction film directed by Robert Zemeckis, written by Bob Gale and Zemeckis, produced by Steven Spielberg, starring Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Fox, Crispin Glover, amongst others.
Marty McFly – bliss surname – (Fox) was sent back in time to 1955, he meets his future parents at high school and accidentally becomes his mums romantic interest… As a sum of all this, Marty must make his parents to be fall in love, this is where Doc (Lloyd) comes into the story. Lloyd is an electric scientist and he is the one to help Marty try and return to 1985 again.
As it’s Back to the Future’s 30 year anniversary, I’d like to share a few songs and performances from the iconic movie.
I woke up kind of emotional today… I have a lot going on at the moment, changes, but I believe that changes are always for the best.
Thing is, I know what makes me happy, and I believe in myself (that’s the first step to success!!!), I know what makes me feel alive… And I’ve had enough of chasing the wrong things or other peoples dreams. I’m ready. Ready to follow MY dreams. Ready to risk it all to get what it is that I want.
Piece of advice: NEVER give up. NEVER stop believing in yourself.
This song is the perfect song for my mood and would like to share it with all of you.
“And I can’t change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to…”
