After an intense summer, I’m back.

This is the first time I post something in nearly two months!

A lot has gone on… I hope to open up and share a lot of what happened over my summer with you all, but I respect my mind and it’s emotions, and now isn’t the time.

Everything is great, actually, I’m the best I’ve been in a while. But I saw and experienced, lived, thought, felt so much, and still haven’t processed it all.

So, I put this playlist together for my comeback.

There’s a mix and match of stuff, no specific order, just songs that have been on my mind for a while and I wanted to share with you.

Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive. – Elbert Hubbard

I would love to share every photo, article, video, story and so on that I’ve read and seen about David Bowie, but I can’t… I’m kind of overwhelmed at the moment with the whole situation.

One thing I would like to say is:

“When people accept and understand that one doesn’t have to know the whole life of an artist, their discography, know everyone they’ve worked/toured/drank/partied with, to be able to mourn someone’s loss, but accept that a person (he or she) changed something in them, made them a better person, believe, feel or whatever… That day this world will be a better place.” – I wrote this

Yesterday was an emotional day for many, for others it was like any other Monday, the point I want to get to is that no one has to explain or justify their reasons.

Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive. – Elbert Hubbard

We are human and humans judge, so you won’t EVER please everyone.

Yesterday a lot of people were throwing crap at one another on social media sites (obviously not face to face) saying that they aren’t fans of David Bowie, because they don’t know all his lyrics and only know 3 songs.. You know what? Does it matter if a person is a fan or not of a band or artist or celebrity? Who is one to decide who is a fan WORTHY enough to be called a FAN? YOU can be whatever and whoever you want.

The world is going through a lot of changes, people are waking up by the second and more and more people are following their dreams each and everyday… If we all put in a grain of rice (I LOVE rice) of love or passion, honesty, or anything we can give that’s positive to the world, WE can make this a better place.

So please, stop hating on one another, instead of focusing on the bad, look at the good and positive, we all have something or many things to offer and contribute with to make this a better place.

Have a lovely day, and remember, we can be heroes, just for one day….

Foo Fighters – Times Like These

Foo Fighters have a surprise for us in 23 days!

In 23 days the Foo Fighters have something for us!

Yesterday they posted on their official website a countdown (starting with 24 days) and I’ve heard 2 theories:
a) They’re releasing a new album
b) They’re going to go on tour

It could be either a or b, but I have no idea… Whatever it may be, I can’t wait!

Foo Fighters – My Hero

Howard Stern interviews the Foo Fighters

The Foo Fighters were on The Howard Stern Show earlier today… The interview is long, but it’s one of the most interesting interviews I’ve ever listened to.

Howard is an excellent host and asks such interesting questions, really gets in there, but in a ver organic way, and THAT is what makes an interview engaging, intriguing and captivating.

Dave Grohl talks about where the name of the band came about from, Nirvana (yeh, Dave talks about Nirvana and Kurt!), Gangnam Style, Paul McCartney, song lyrics, interviewing Obama, making truce with Courtney Love, Prince, perform Learn To Fly and Something From Nothing, and lots more.

This interview is a MUST, so if you’re at work, plug in your headphones and if you’re at home, grab a beer, sit back and enjoy.

“This is a love letter to the history of American music” – Dave Grohl

The Foo Fighters will release there eighth studio album called Studio Highways on November 10th 2014.

Studio Highways contains 8 songs, each recorded in a different US city: Austin, Chicago, LA, Nashville, New Orleans, New York,  Seattle and Washington D.C.

In August 2013, Dave Grohl (lead vocalist, guitarist, main songwriter and founder of the Foo Fighters) did an interview with XFM and said the following:
“Well, I’ll tell you, we have been in our studio writing and in the past few weeks we’ve written an album and we are going to make this album in a way that no-one’s ever done before and we’re pretty excited about it… It’s a little ways off – it’s not ready to happen right now – but I think next year is going to be a really big year for the Foo Fighters, without question.”

Sonic Highways Tracklist:
1 ) Something from Nothing
2 ) The Feast and the Famine
3 ) Congregation
4 ) What Did I Do?/God As My Witness
5 ) Outside
6 ) In The Clear
7 ) Subterranean
8 ) I Am a River

The best ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video by far!

We’ve seen loads of videos of famous and not so famous people doing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but I think the Foo Fighters pulled off THE best and most original video so far!

Dave Gorhl and Taylor Hawkins recreated the infamous prom scene from Carrie (horror film based on Stephen King’s 1974 novel of the same name) for their nomination of the challenge. There was no kiss nor blood involved, just Dave in a prom dress a bit of ice and water.

They were nominated by Zac Brown and the boys then nominated John Travolta, Jack Black and Stephen King to accomplish the challenge.
