The Last Shadow Puppets to release album in April!

The Last Shadow Puppets are an English band consisting of some of the most talented british musicians of this era.

The group is formed by Alex Turner (that guy that happens to be the vocalist of Arctic Monkeys), Miles Kane (ex member of The Rascals and now solo artist), producer James Ford (ex- Simian Mobile Disco) and Zach Dawes (Mini Mansions).

The Baroque Pop/Rock band united forces back in 2007 and performed their first ever show in Brooklyn, New York in March 2008. They’ve played on Later… With Jools Holland (one of my FAVE shows), Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, a secret gig at Glastonbury in 2008, and many more shows here and there.

The band released their first album The Age of the Understatement in 2008. Hit songs such as My Mistakes Were Made For You, Standing Next to Me and of course, The Age of the Understatement.

And in a few months (in April to be exact), the boys are releasing their second studio album called Everything You’ve Come To Expect.

Bad Habits is the first song that’s been released off the 11 song album.

I must say, I think the song is lovely! It’s very exciting and makes me want to shake my head and jump up and down.

Check out Bad Habits off the boys’ upcoming album, Everything You’ve Come To Expect, here!

Meet JJ Hodari, a passionate musician that I’ve known since I was a child

Born and raised in Manchester, England, JJ Hodari, is a down to earth, passionate, deep guy with an immense love for music that is noticeable the minute you hear him sing or see him play.

I’ve known JJ for years, since we were toddlers, and when I heard his music the first, I remember I was speechless. I had no idea JJ was into music! We were friends on social networks, but hadn’t really kept that much in touch…

JJ has said that he wants to make real music, no gimmicks – and this is evident in his emotive vocals and catchy melodies.

It’s weird to be a fan of someone you’ve known for years, but I must say, I am a big fan of yours JJ!

May your passion spread around the world, and I wish you the best in the world.

Have a listen to JJ perform his debut single Break our Bones released last October here:
