Happy Birthday, Justin Timberlake!

Today is one of my fave solo artists birthday…

Happy 35th Birthday, Justin Timberlake!!!

JT’s solo album Justified came out back in 2002, and till this day, I must say, it’s in my top albums list.

Songs like Cry Me A River, Rock Your Body and Señorita are on it.

His second solo album FutureSex/LoveSounds came out in 2006, The 20/20 Experience is from 2013 and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 also came out in 2013.

Apart from being a fantastic singer, dancer and actor, Justin is also a dad + husband – and from what I perceive on pics, he’s a pretty good one, too!

Here’s Like I Love You off Timberlake’s first album, Justified.

I turn 28 years old on Sunday!

This Sunday (17th January) I turn 28 years old.

Making a wish, or 23 last night whilst celebrating my birthday.

I can’t believe it… I really can’t.

I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Harry Nilsson – Put The Lime In The Coconut

This year was INSANE in so many ways… I lost friends, made new friends, trusted my intuition a lot more, accepted who I am, stopped worrying about what people think about me, became even more sentimental and emotional, found out I was going to be an aunt for the third time, understood that happiness doesn’t depend on materialistic things (even though they do help, but that’s not happiness), had “The Talk” with my dad about my life and it only lasted about 5 minutes – now that is a MASSIVE accomplishment; we’ve always gotten on great, but we finally accepted and understood each other on another level. My baby sister ain’t so young anymore, she turned 22 and she is the person I most admire in the world. Most importantly, I am understanding and not understanding myself at the same time, it’s weird… The more you know, the less you know. That’s what I learnt this year.

I feel blessed and I’m very lucky and I would like to thank every single person reading this.

James Brown – I Feel Good

Today is Bowie’s 69th Birthday (and his 25th album comes out too)!

Today is David Bowie‘s 69th Birthday!!!

The Heroes interpreter was born today back in 1947.

Bowie’s first hit song was Space Oddity (where the famous line “Ground Control To Major Tom” came from).

Apart from the english singer/songwriter/arranger/multi-instrumentalist/record producer/actor and painter turning 69 today, his latest album Blackstar comes out today also!

Blackstar is David’s 25th studio album and it has 7 songs on it plus a bonus track if you download it digitally.

Wishing Ziggy a very Happy Birthday and a lot of success with his latest album!

David Bowie – Lazarus

Bowie will release 25th studio album in January 2016

David Bowie is releasing his 25th studio album called Blackstar on January 8th 2016 (which is also his 69th birthday).

The album will have seven songs on it, and the title track will be used as the opening music for the TV series The Last Panthers (based on real events by the Balkan jewel thieves the Pink Panthers).

I don’t think we have to talk much about what we expect and hope, we’re talking about Bowie, one of the most talented, precise, emotional, to the point musicians that has ever existed!

The Stars (Are Out Tonight) was featured on David’s last album The Next Day that came out in 2013

Happy 56th Bday, Robert Smith!

Today is Robert Smith‘s 56th Birthday!

Robert is The Cure‘s lead singer among many other things in the band.

Born in Blackpool, England (ma homie!) back in 1959, Smith is a multi-instrumentalist, known for his unique stage look – funky hair and messy makeup. But he sure carries a voice on him! Still till this day, Robert is known for his spectacular performances – very long ones as well.. sometimes over 3 hours!

As a commemoration of Smith’s birthday I’d like to post the following song….

The Cure – Lovesong

Happy 66th Birthday, Robert Plant!

Happy 66th Birthday, Robert Plant!!!

The lead vocalist and lyricist of Led Zeppelin is regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of  Rock and Roll.

The Stairway to Heaven singer influenced artists like Freddie Mercury, Axl Rose and Chris Cornell.

“Music is for every single person that walks the planet.” – Robert Plant

This is one of my favourite Zeppelin songs, Ten Years Gone.
