Juliette Lewis has quite a voice on her!

Juliette Lewis became a talked about name back in 91′ after being in Martin Scorsese‘s remake of Cape Fear. Over the next few years, she landed roles in films such as From Dusk Till Dawn, Strange Days, Starsky & Hutch, Old School, The Basketball Diaries and more.

Apart from being a phenomenal actress, she’s got quite a voice on her!

She launched a band a few years back called Juliette and the Licks and released 3 CD’s during her time in the band, and in 2009, she went solo and brought out her solo album titled Terra Incognita.

You should never judge a book by it’s cover, and Juliette is a clear example of that saying! Intelligent, versatile, pretty, deep, talented… She’s got the whole packet!

Have a look and listen to Terra Incognita (one of me faves; Anthony Hopkins is featured in the video for a few seconds!)

Thriller rehearsals from back in 1983

Apart from Michael Jackson‘s Thriller being a well known song all over the world, the music video is immense!

The video lasts nearly14 minutes – longer than the actual song – but the choreography is something no one can ever forget.

MJ and a bunch of talented dancers and actors dressed up like zombies back in 1983, whilst the video was released at the beginning of 84′.

Thriller won many awards, and the music video (which was directed by John Landis) cost a whopping $500,000 dollars!

A very good investment in my opinion!

MJ’s famous moon walk is in the zombie dance too!

Have a look at one of the rehearsals with choreographer Michael Peters and director John Landis, here!

The Rolling Stones 1972 tour and Jose Cuervo

The Rolling Stones hit song Miss You musicalizes Jose Cuervo‘s latest avert.

The Rolling Stone’s 1972 tour is better known as the “Cocaine and Tequila Sunrise tour” – obviously not to the world, but to the band, and it was the first tour the boys went on with their own hired plane with the famous lips and tongue logo painted on it. Cuervo comes into the picture as the boys drank that brand of tequila throughout the whole tour.

The advert is very similar to what I have always thought a plane ride of hot, talented, rock n roll musicians touring in the 70’s and 80’s must’ve been like… (I’m sure it was a tad more X rated back in the day)… Anyways, the advert came out a few days ago and I must say, I LOVE IT!

Today’s mood in a song

Damon Albarn is one of my all time fave musicians.

Damon is the lead singer of Blur and co-founder, vocalist and songwriter of Gorillaz.

In 2003, Albarn released an EP called Democrazy, and last year he released Everyday Robots, his first proper solo album.

You & Me is a song featured on Everyday Robots. The song is accompanied by Brian Eno’s vocals and synthesizer.

I’m in this kind of mood today…. <3

Taylor Swift and Scott Eastwood hit the big screen, together!

Taylor Swift is one of the most recognized names, face and voice in the world.

Her songs are very catchy, and EVERYONE, know at least one of her tunes.

I must confess, I do have a bit of a soft spot for the country/pop singer.

The Shake It Off, Bad Blood, I Knew You Were Trouble (and loads more hit 1 songs) recently released her latest tune Wildest Dreams acompanied by a vintage/outdoorsie/fashion video.

The music video was released at the VMA’s last week – yes, the awards Miley Cyrus hosted in barely any clothes – and instead of focusing on the pretty brunette (Swift wears a wig or coloured her hair), I couldn’t keep my eyes off her co-star, Scott Eastwood.

Scott is Clint Eastwood’s son.

Being the son of one of the most iconic actors of the century must be quite a load, but I personally think Scott has got a lot going for him.

Have a look at Taylor’s latest video, here, and let me know what you think!

The story behind The Carlton Dance

Remember Carlton’s famous dance from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air?!!!

Until yesterday I realized that that dance wasn’t his, originally… But Courtney Cox’s!!!!!!!

MY LIFE IS A SHAM!!!!!!!!!!

Court is in Bruce Springsteen‘s Dancing in the Dark video and invented the moves of one of the most talked about dances of our generation, there.

Carlton once mentioned in an interview: “Courtney Cox did that dance in the Bruce Springsteen video, I just stole it.”

Have a look at Cox dance her tush off on stage with Springsteen, here!
