Ellie covers Hozier’s hit song

As if we didn’t love Take Me To Church enough, my homegal, Ellie Goulding did a cover of Hozier‘s fantabulous song.

The cover she did is SO Ellie, if you get me… You know, her synthpop signature is in it. Basically, Ellie totally rocked out Hozier’s hit!

It’s been 18 years, RIP Biggie.

18 years ago today, the music industry lost a very important soul, The Notorious B.I.G.

The Notorious B.I.G, also known as Biggie was raised in Brooklyn, NYC. He became very well known when he brought out his debut album Ready To Die back in 94′.

B.I.G was in LA presenting an award to Toni Braxton at the Soul Train Music Awards back in March 1997. After the Awards, Biggie got into his SUV with his entourage and at a traffic light a few block away from where the Awards were being held at, a man pulled up next to them, rolled down his window and shot at Biggie 4 times. He was rushed to hospital, but only a few minutes after arriving at the hospital, he was announced dead.

I’d like to share my fave Biggie tune with you al and R.I.P big man!!!

Big Poppa

Love is patient, Love is kind.

I woke up kind of emotional today… I have a lot going on at the moment, changes, but I believe that changes are always for the best.

Thing is, I know what makes me happy, and I believe in myself (that’s the first step to success!!!), I know what makes me feel alive… And I’ve had enough of chasing the wrong things or other peoples dreams. I’m ready. Ready to follow MY dreams. Ready to risk it all to get what it is that I want.

Piece of advice: NEVER give up. NEVER stop believing in yourself.

This song is the perfect song for my mood and would like to share it with all of you.

“And I can’t change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to…”

Hozier has done it again!

Since discovering Hozier a few months back with his song Take Me to Church, I have been totally obsessed with him.

His lyrics are incredible, he’s so cool and down to earth (from what I’ve seen on interviews and all that), and he’s very cute.

A few hours ago he released his latest music video Someone New and it’s lovely!

Have a look at the video here, and let me know what you think.
